Southern Winds Magazine

IV Equity and Justice collaborated with artists, experts, and community organizations to create the first issue of Southern Winds in 2024 (Southern Winds translates to Vientos del Sur in Spanish). When we first started working on this magazine, we set out with this mission: to build collective power by fostering an inclusive and vibrant space for community members to come together, share resources, and advocate for environmental and social justice. Issue 1 is the culmination of many people coming together to share information about lithium and art inspired by the Imperial Valley.
